Or Woolfardisworthy West to give the village its correct title, but we think Woolsery is a little more friendly.

Woolsery is set within unspoiled rolling North Devon countryside with wonderful coastlines and country walks, and has a heritage going back to the Doomsday book and beyond. The heart of the village was built around the Norman Church and has grown over time into a thriving community with something for everyone. Our Village School is one of the best in the area, and we have a pre-school group know as Sunflowers. We hold annual events that the whole village gets involved in such as the Woolsery Village Fayre, The Weekend of Open Gardens and the Woolsery Show, as well as various local Clubs and Societies to suit all ages, many of which are held at our award winning Community Hall.

Disabled Parking at The Hall

disabledsign Following comments and complaints in regards to Disabled parking at the Village Hall, signs have been placed identifying the designated disabled parking spaces, directly to the right of the main doors, in front of the Social club.

Recently, two seperate drivers who had parked in the disabled spaces, when asked to move, gave the response, "that the spaces were empty when they got here" that may well have been the case, but when someone who needed the space later that day arrived, they were forced to park elsewhere.

The Hall Commitee would be grateful if the more able bodied visitors to the hall, would consider the needs of those who require the use of the spaces, by parking in one of the other available spaces in the car park.
